Archiving analog recordings to MR-1000
« on: July 02, 2007, 01:28:23 AM »
New member to the group - been watching the boards for awhile and getting great info.

I'll be picking up the MR-1000 this week.  Among the first things I plan on doing is to archive various analog recordings in my collection.  Given that my analog recordings will be played back on units with RCA outputs, what is the best way to drive the input into the MR-1000?  I have a low-end mixer with tape ins/outs so this is one option.  Are there problems with going direct from RCA out directly to the MR-1000 quarter-inch inputs (given the right cable)?
