« on: November 05, 2003, 01:18:47 PM »
I would like to run a dat backup from my rig but don't know how to do it or if it's possible.  I'm running adk TL's > mme > sony c1vn and would like to put a dat in the mix for backup puposes.  Thanks for all the help and i'm sure i will come up with something later but for now i'm finished for the day.

if you have the mme with usb out you can run usb to your laptop and coax to DAT.  the laptop would set the bit depth and sample rate.  think you can do up to 24/48 via usb but not sure about 24/96.

you set the knob on the mme for the bitrate that gets sent to the DAT via coax so you set up your DAT like any other time.
