i know there are alot of us, just thought i would share my thoughts on the this

i got mine today, bought from ebay for 20 bucks, seems great.... fits tight and protects everything. and was factory sealed by creative

seems like a deal to me, second time i bought from the selled jnsdirect with great results, as i think they are the only ones on ebay with this case

Does it seem to protect anything?  I saw them online but I didnt know if it was worth getting.

I have one.  You need to make the hole (in the case) that goes around the input a little bigger to accomodate connector bodies in order to ensure a good connection.  I usually run the thing out of the case when I'm actually recording, as it doesn't really help with ventalation and heat can be an issue down here.  I'm sure the case would be great for stealthing, though.

seems to protect everything on the face nicely, havent really handled the unit while recording to see the heat factor, never thought of it yet

at minimum great option to protect it in transport!

I had it shut off on me back in July recording outdoors in AL... not fun

hmm that sucks

i was recording in about 105 degree weather with 100% humidity for like 10 hours the other day, no problems whatsoever

i was in the shade however... didnt make that much difference though
