Interesting. I curious about the Schoeps made microphone. It looks pretty compact.

It's more likely to be an MK41 to fit with the application.

Probably not too useful here, it's so you can adjust gain whilst holding the boom. There's also a remote for the 788T for similar purposes.  Neither are particularly popular ways of working

I was thinking more like putting two of them together with output cable terminating into mini cable for handheld recorder.

Think they have a two channel version brewing? ..targeted at M/S boom rigs by adding a MK8?
