shame it doesn't have an 'add mandolin' feature.  that's the only problem I see with the footage.

I'll post this to equal things out..

while Ive never seen the stringdusters live, what I see in the posted vid falls short of these guys who I saw many times..

Yer crazy.  Stringdusters play the song in question leaps above Yonder.  And Yonder is my favorite band.  ;)

Gotta love those Canon's.  I've used an HV-20 for 2 plus years, and every time I consider getting a new cam, I hear something negative about the one I was considering.

My only complaint is the zoom.  Would be sweet if they make a future model w/ 16x or more  :)

I'm going to have to throw in my vote for the Stringdusters.  They rule this song.

i love my hv30. my only complaint is that it doesn't film LED lights very well when a fog machine is being used.. it causes a flutter or scrolling effect that really sucks. i'd like to get an hv40 though so i can do full 1920x1080p instead of the 1440x1080i that the hv30 & 20 do.

here's an example of the led/fog problem i'm talking about,

I was going to get rid of one of my HV30's because I rarely have good enough lighting. Then I shot this footage and decided to keep them both.

Not even close to zoomed in. I was on the beach  taping audio. The camera would have zoomed all the way to get JB from the waste up.
