Thank you for the positive feedback. Your rig is the way I would like to eventually go (Euro crisis permitting ).
Now, the theory goes that there are diminishing returns with expensive gears. I am not quite convinced about it, also listening to your LMA recordings.
What's our take on this?
One more question: do you suggest me to purchase a PMD661 to connect my CMR's, for a change of sound?

Thanks Napo, although actually your rig is the way I may go eventually (at least partly)!
I think having high quality equipment will always yield a better recording, although the improvement may be incremental rather than substantial. I think that the diminishing returns concept applies to most tapers, for whom probably really expensive gear won't yield significantly better results than moderately expensive gear (but better quality in general than cheap gear) given that we are recording loud 'electrified' music being blasted from a PA system. But for people recording unamplified classical, acoustic, or jazz, the quality of the gear probably makes more of a difference. That said, I think your rig is excellent and don't think upgrading the M10 to a 661 would make much of a difference, except that the 661 has lower noise, but in your recording it didn't sound like noise was an issue at all.
Good luck and keep those tapes rolling in Italy.
