Running non-rechargeables with NiMH's

Hey guys,

I just bought a new charger and a set of 4 NiMH's to replace the 8 bad ones that I had.  Unfortunately, upon first charging the new set I realized one of them is bad as well!  >:(

I leave for red rocks tomorrow, and my question is, is there any reason why I can't run 1 non-rechargeable AA battery with the 3 rechargeables?

i'm pretty sure you cannot mix batt "types".  don't remember why or where to point you to for confermation.

to be on the safe side i'd grab an extra (or pair) at wallyworld or rs.  brand makes no difference what so ever as far as compatibility is concerned.  i would try to match mah though.
