Ram question
« on: December 09, 2002, 03:48:12 PM »
This one if for the computer geeks.  I read that I can put pc2100 ram in my computer which now has pc1600, is this true?  I would like it to be, as pc2100 is a bit cheaper, and I am a cheap bastard when it comes to piddly stuff like Ram!

Dont cheap out on ram... if you are gonna cheap out cheap out on video cards or generic cd-roms (not cdrs) or dvd players.   look on www.compgeeks.com for the best prices usually on ram.

Can't answer your question but another great place for all things memory/RAM, check out http://www.crucial.com.  I'm sure if you call them they can answer your question.
