Hi - I have several feet of StarQuad cable laying around and need a 25' 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable. I read the great post of unbalanced vs. balanced cable here: http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=72453.0
Since I have the StarQuad, I'm going to go ahead and use it- the question is how should I wire it- I've searched here and out there :-) and have found several options:
1 - white+ to tip
2 - blue+ to ring
3 - white-, blue-, shield to sleeve/ground
OR
1 - white+ to tip
2 - white- to ring
3 - blue+, blue-, shield to sleeve/ground
OR
1 - white+, white- to tip
2 - blue+, blue- to ring
3 - shield to sleeve/ground
Are any of these 3 configurations best?
Thanks!

Think of it like this:
White HOT = PLUS Blue COLD = MINUS
Both whites to plus, both colds to minus, shield to shield/ground.

Sounds good- option 3 is what I had thought logical, but just to be obsessed with doing it the best possible way, I did some Google searches, and found option 1 and 2.
I just want best sound quality for a 25' run, and if there's any potential for noise reduction, take advantage of that too.
Thanks for the replies!
