Some years ago- '92 in fact, I was given an AKG D19C.
Not knowing anything about it and finding the O/P connector amusing- I took it apart.
19 years later, I found it at the weekend and a quick search online revealed it to be the "Beatles Mic" and of some note. Does anyone have any direct experience of these things and feel they could give me some pointers to re-assembly/a destination/application for it...?
Sorry if this shocks alot of people- I still have all parts and the original case...
