anyone else here running this? looking to d/load some samples before i drop the cash

Mmm, no....but I've the m300's>pmod ua5.  Only taped one time XY and wasn't too happy with the results.  Heading out to MOFRO tonight and plan on running DIN.  Be more than happy to send you a freebie when it's done.

And if you do go with the warm mod, I'd love to hear a sample of that as well.  Maybe, depending on where you live, we could even run a comparision sometime.  I've been real curious about the m300>warm combo for a while too.

Have not heard the combination, but I will bet that it sounds absolutely fantastic.  If you can't find some M300 > UA5 samples, look for some M200 > wmodUA5 samples.  The M300 and M200 sound very similar.

I thought you were getting 200's?  Gefell's sound good with anything!  Get the mod that sounds most like the mme, I think this is the "warm" one everyone speaks of.

the guy at oade told me the "warm" box was supposed to be similar to a V3 and the p-mod to a mme. although some folks have expressed that the p-mod box has a good amout of low end, this seems backwards to me. IMO the mme is warmer than the V3. The V3 seems to be Tighter and more crisp in the lows and mids (highs are great too, as is the mme).

also, I would get the 200's if i bought geffells. I believe the 300 has a fixed cap?

i am getting 200s actually, that was a typo

and i allready have a warm mod ua5...

anyone running this?

cant limit myself to that, id rather keep my 391s

the 200's are not fixed caps, the 300's are.

yeah, my posts are all messed up, the kid, pg2 of yard sale section, has the 300s for sale

im gonna pass on there, no fixed caps for me, id rather just keep the 391s and buy some hypers for them
