I have been using Rat Shack NiMH.  1800mAh(maybe 1850) and haven't had a problem with them yet.  If I do, I will definately check out the links above.  Those look nice.

Going to San Diego for vacation.  +T for everybody.

Just bought the package with 2 sets of batteries.  Not a bad deal to get a second set for $10.  I am such a sucker for new shit.

They look like a good investment, how long do they usually last before they need to be charged?

When you start a cover band who says Styx?

They say ostrich has less fat, but you eat more of it

Definitely a good investment - they'll pay for themselves in no time.

Depends on the device, obviously.  I get 4-5 hours out of my 2000 mAH AA rechargables in my D100.  I usually swap 'em out at set break though becuase I'm Mr. Power Paranoid.

I usally get a show(2-3 hours) out of the Rat Shack sets, but I am hoping I can push these enough to get through a full festival day on 2 sets.  Wish me luck.

I believe the kits Mike referenced do not.  But they have all different kinds of chargers and kits - check around the website and you'll find something to suit your needs.

One thing to keep in mind:  most 9v chargers don't float charge, that is they won't auto-trickle/shut-off when the 9v is fully charged.  Then again, things might have changed since I last looked into this a year or two ago.
