this was my first rig! What type of connector have those mikes? The SP Batt Box need a single 1/8 connector

If your AT831's are from SoundProfessionals you don't worry about that, the mikes have one single 1/8 connector

Ps:Wellcome to TS!
+T for you from Spain

You want the mics wired to a single 3.5 MM stereo plug.

Mono = 1 channel
Dual Mono = 2 channel separated (mean, two single channels, equals double miniplug)

You want the STARDARD SINGLE STEREO CONNECTOR.

Anyway, stop wondering and contact Chris Church, buy his mics and forget about any problems you could have in the future.

No affiliation, I SWEAR!

Jokes apart, I'm not (yet) a Chris Church customer but I have not heard anything but good stuff on his sales, in this site and from friends of mine who owns Chris stuff. Thusmore I have learnead a lot of things on Chris discussions and posts, and that make me feel that Chris knows what he's doing. I'm sure that if you PM him he'll be glad to guide you on which is the perfect mic for your needs and for your budget.
