Dr-680 File Error?
« on: September 25, 2017, 03:28:06 PM »
I recorded some sets this weekend onto an SDHC card using a DR-680.  One of the resulting files on the card is an unknown file type with the name "USBC└êƒ"

File obviously won't play and I'm afraid to change the file extension or anything as I'm concerned with destroying the file.  Windows won't let me copy the file either because of the special characters in the file name.  Size of the file shows only 3,588,096 KB but the card is showing that it has 28.5GB of data used

Any suggestions how to recover this file?

Also, odd to me is that I had the DR-680 to record 6 mono tracks which is what I got the day before on this deck and later in the evening last night once I swapped out the SDHC card, but this few hours of music is only 1 file?
