can someone build me a cable?
« on: August 08, 2006, 04:03:42 PM »
i have this power runner battery. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=919
it is adjustable from 3-12v. is it possible for someone to build me a cable to power both my PS-2 and AD-20. i am sick of paying for 9v and throwing them away. i am in no way skilled with electronics, and don't want to try and build it myself. if anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

And, yes, I know I suck about getting stuff circulated.  ;)

the bigest thing to keepin mind with a ps2/ad20 is you need to make sure you plug either the battery or cabkein 1st, i can't recall which it is but if you do not do it correct you can fry the gear

with that said i hear eds work is great, however i asked if he could do some cables for me and he said yes, when i asked him for a price i never heard back :/
i ended up having to find someone else to do the cables

When I ran the PS-2 I had a ground loop problem when powering it and my DAT deck from the same battery pack. I ended up just using the 9v batteries...

I'll give another recomendation to contact Ed at Kind Kables.

I'm in the same position as Will...I asked Ed it he could construct a power cable for the 722 and he said yes...but I haven't heard back on price either ???

I have bought from him in the past with good dealings however...

Ed's work is great. Give him a call - it's probably the best way to get in touch with him.
