Trouble with spdif to spdif portadat> 661 Mark II?
« on: April 30, 2019, 06:45:37 PM »
Decks and cable are sound, but keep getting digital in error message and won’t record. I realized that I used my old MK0 for a bunch of transfers with no issue. But I sold it and kept the II. Which doesn’t play nice with portadats. Any thoughts?

Oh all the settings are correct.

I did a ton with MK1 but don’t think I have with II. When deciding which to keep it never occurred to me that MKII might not work.

thats a bummer . i hate when they fix things that arent broken. the MKII is pretty functionally identical for our purposes other than that, unless you actually use markers. im personally terrified of touching extra buttons while recording

Pure user error. Without glasses misread Hhb digital output labels. 661 mkII works fine digital out. 😁
