Detroit Lightning-what did you use the R-26 for mainly?  If for recording live shows, how did it perform?  Why are you selling it?  How old is it?  Thanks man, thinking seriously about purchasing this.

I had one. I sold it only because it was my 3rd deck (well, more than 3rd, but 3rd XLR-capable deck). It's fantastic IMO -- great sound, nice big display, excellent battery life. Internal mics IIRC aren't half bad either.

Especially if you can get a good deal, no fears buying it now that it's discontinued.

R-26 is a keeper.

+ Works even good when stealthing (If you prepare well)

+ Great when you want to make matrix with different mic´s at the same time.

+ Would one of the "mic´-chains" malfunction you always has at least 1-2 more to choose from. Like a "back-up"-option which is really great.

+ Robust and works flawless.

+ Works with many different mic´s  and in/outputs.

- Only downside...you can stealth with it...slightly too big...get big pockets in the jacket´s
