Impact Umbrella Bracket - my new favorite mount/gear
« on: September 17, 2012, 02:32:44 AM »
So I just found  and ordered
the
Impact Umbrella Bracket
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/656152-REG/Impact_9101880_Umbrella_Bracket_with_Adjustable.html

I have yet to use this, but is a nice faux Nextel black sort of finish and  is a quick release on both ends, with a nice pivot action up to 90°.
I think this will com in handy with my either of my Matthews baby poles
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/33185-REG/Matthews_429499_Telescopic_Baby_Stand_Extension.html
I have one that is silver with heavy duty metal thumb screws and one that is black with cheaper  black plastic collars and thumb screws.

this will also work excellent with my

and

It could even hold an umbrella in the rain...

wondering if I am just late on this unit, or if other s are already board of it...?

peace

seems like a flexible device.  did you mainly purchase it in order to link your Murphy baby poles together?

mostly I got this thing because I like to have the ability to run an extension at an angle out from my stand or cmalp in some situations. Also this can make my Bogen superclamp have the ability to mount to a bench, arm rest or table, and be at 90 degrees or any angle I choose... just offers more flexibility.
