the developer of the underlying command line program says he can't do any further development. putting picture support in would mean relearning c and coding something up

maybe i'll try to start with porting the app to java...

if you do go this route...drop me a line, I wouldnt mind helping...although I am C#, i know i can do java too..they are so damn close.

here's a little quirk or bug.

let's say I load tracks into several groups.  if I hit the button to "clear all groups" the total time and disc size go to zero, as it should.
however, it I just hit the button to "clear this group", the total disc size does not drop down and remains what it was before.  BUT, if I then add different tracks to any group, the total disc size will update to the correct size (basically, subtract the group that I just cleared, and then add back the tracks just added).  does that make sense?  am I being clear?

and, of course, once again for putting in the time and effort, it's a great little app :)
just burned a DVD-Audio disc at 16/44.1, with Phish 11/9/95 & 11/10/95 (it was about 500 MB too big to fit 11/11 on there as well).  great way to listen to these shows on the 10th anniversary :)

Actually I just checked on my Pc and the dvd-rw plays fine through WinDVD.
So I'm guessing it's some buffer issue with the 4960? Any toshiba owners have
any problems? Does Discwelder essential take this same approuch when making
DVDA'S? By this I mean does it convert .wav files into .aob files?

yes, discwelder basically does the same thing.  with discwelder, it does it all at once, that is, create the DVD image and then burns it.  with this program, it leaves you with an image file (.iso) and then you burn it on your own.  but it's the same format and, in theory, should be the same.

I just created an Image with version .41 but when I burned the image to a DVD-RW, it would not play in my Standalone Toshiba or Sharp Players.

Also when I try to play the DVD in my PC, it just opens up a folder view with the Video_TS and Audio_TS folders ???    ???

The DVD Players say the DVD-A is unplayable :o

I'm using Nero 6.6.0.18

Thanks

jeff

maybe the players don't like dvd-rws?

did you burn it as an image?  or just burn it as files?
