Charging Korg MR-1 via USB shortenes battery life!
« on: February 12, 2008, 05:07:14 PM »
USB charging was clearly designed for the Korg to be able to turn on when it had no battery life left (auto-shutting down). I've been trying to charge my Korg via USB and the battery life goes up and down and never becomes fully charged. This must have to do with the design of the usb-charging "detector" or something... where it has trouble sustaining charging for the entire needed charging time. My Korg even went to 0 bars after I tried to charge it in the USB. This constant fluxuation battery charging will certainly harm the korg battery.

So, just a warning.... I'm no expert on batteries so this is mostly my noob assumptions.
