Topic: Steinberg ur-rt2 Audio Interface

Anyone have any experience with one of these? I was talking with a buddy that offered one of these for a great price. Wondering if anyone has tried it out or has an opinion on the subject. Looks pretty cool with Rupert Neve transformers.

Wondering if you could use it for the pre function and just pass the signal on rather than the recorder / audio interface?
