A bit of holiday cheer
« on: December 24, 2008, 06:28:00 PM »
Attached is a photo of a holiday gift received today from Schoeps GmbH. Though parts of the product shown here have suffered a bit from airmail shipment, the concept should be clear enough.

The fifth "capsule" is unmarked, but if it was an MK 5, this photo may illustrate a point that we always make in the catalog and the owner's manual: Schoeps' two- and three-pattern capsules aren't meant to be operated with the pattern switch set in between the defined settings. The resulting behavior will then be "undefined," which definitely implies the threat of chewy gooiness.
