ASIO/WDM buffer size problem
« on: February 11, 2004, 12:17:25 AM »
so i screwed up tonight.  i had the ASIO/WDM buffer size on the firewire audiophile set too high and it caused clicks throughout the whole recording.  anyone know if this is a problem that can be fixed after the fact in wavelab or soundforge or something?

Odd, I had the same problem with my UA5 & the buffer set too LOW.

Are they just clicks or is it actual split second gaps in the recording. If they're gaps then yer hosed.
Governor Jim McGreevey was equally disturbed about the upcoming population increase. "New Jersey cannot support all of these wookies," he said. "For starters, we don't have nearly enough kindbud. At best, we can muster up a Q.P. of some beasties, but we've not a dime-bag more."

In Wavelab under the Process pulldown menu, try using waveform restorer.  Ive had good luck with that on clicks.  You select a region and then process it.
