PC amp for external speakers?

(1/1)

rockymtnryan:
Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has some recs for a simple PC amplifier that would allow me to run some external bookshelf speakers to monitor while mastering. I've seen a bunch on Amazon but not sure if anyone really likes a particular model or brand.

Thanks!

What's your budget?  Something like the NAD D 3020 V2 might be good, depending on how much power your speakers need.

I've used my ART SLA1 amp for years. Sounds really clean. It's a rack mount which may not suit you. The cooling fan is very quiet.

Ashly SRA120 or current model.  A simple rack mount two channel amplifier with one volume knob per channel and a headphone jack.  I use them to drive my passive monitors.  Check e-bay.
