I have a  Marantz PMD660 and I would like to get a case for it. Are there any cases out there that work good for it?

caution running it in a case,heat builds up and 661's dont LIKE heat.

The OP is looking for a case for a 660 unless it was a typo.

Hmm, as far as 661 though I have always run my 661 in the standard marantz case even for an all day blues festival and never had a problem with heat.

Hi,

Those are nice cases but I am hoping to find something a little less expensive. Maybe a camera case of some sorts? Maybe I will look at the Pelican cases and see what size will fit it. I am not real concerned with using it while it is in the case, just something to carry it in and to store it in. That Porta Brace one looks great but I bought the PMD660 used and fairly inexpensive.

I have a soft padded case I got from somewhere? its got 2 pouches hold the 661 and a tekkon and snaps closed. I no longer use it and its in great shape. has 2 fron pockets too. if your interest PM me.It also had belt loop holder which is sewn on. it did have a shoulder strap too.

I have mine in a case that originally held a wireless slide projector controller. Taped in a couple foam blocks and everything fits in there, USB cable, power supply & extra CF card. It's not as durable as a Pelican but lighter and free-er.
