I prefer the more secure xlr or mini xlr connection. Is the stereo input on it work ok in the field?

You can also use a little piece of gaffers to secure the mini jack too.

I haven't had any issues with the mini plug coming out/loose on my m10.
I use a right angle
Mics - AKG ck61/ck63 (c480b & Naiant actives), SP-BMC-2
XLR Cables - Silver Path w/Darktrain stubbies
Interconnect Cables - Dogstar (XLR), Darktrain (RCA > 1/8) (1/8 > 1/8), and Kind Kables (1/8f > 1/4)
Preamps - Naiant Littlebox & Tinybox
Recorders - PCM-M10 & DR-60D
