I bought a stroller umbrella.  I am not sure where I got it but it was about $10 or so.  Probably WalMart or Toy's R Us.

It has a reversible plastic clamp so you can clamp it horizontal or vertical.  I would say it is about 30" across and is green and blue.

In addition to the GAKbrella and stroller/golf bag umbrellas, I can also recommend this set at Amazon. > http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004HR0M4Q
Great deal for 3 and included mount.  We've put them to the test during very crappy and rainy conditions up at Mountain Jam and they worked great.  Just note that they are considerably bigger than the GAKbrella.

Those stroller/golf bag umbrellas can run double-duty: clamped one to my camping chair at Wanee this year and it provided some welcome shade from the blazing midday Florida sun.

That's not a bad deal at all, especially including a 7 ft stand and a clamp

^  Oh yeah, forgot to mention the stand that's part of the Amazon package.  By no means is it in the league of Manfrotto, Impact, etc; in fact, it's pretty cheap construction.  But it worked just fine for us on a 2nd stage festival rig holding up a full-size pair of Nak 300s.  No complaints there.

The last couple of years, I've been using the Golf Bag umbrellas called "Drizzle Sticks" that are really small in diamater and are built tough for around $13, which I run if I'm ONLY taping by myself, since the diameter of the canopy isn't very large! These are perfect for some decent wind gusts and for running a smaller setup! I paid $20/each for my [2] Drizzle Stick's a few years back, so $13 is an absolute STEAL IMO. I also recommend cutting a little bit of the long handle off like I did, to make it a little bit shorter. And I still have plenty of the handle to apply duct tape to :)

https://www.walmart.com/ip/NEW-Drizzle-Stik-Flex-Golf-Umbrella-54-Length-Choose-your-Color/195077353?wmlspartner=wmtlabs&adid=22222222222042726183&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=10374547120&wl4=kwd-1105768414618&wl12=195077353_10000001976&wl14=drizzle%20stick%20umbrella&veh=sem

I also have a few of the nicer, but much larger canopy Procella Umbrellas that were only $30 when I got mine, and are now down to ONLY $22, and are mostly made of NON-METAL, and FIBERGLASS, so that they don't rust and break so easily, as well as a DOUBLE canopy, that allows the wind to pass THROUGH the umbrella vs. swaying it all over the place like a regular umbrella! If you have some good outdoor screens, then that's the way to go IMO, especially if there's more people than me running on my mic stands :) The only CON for the Procella's is that they don't have a very long handle on them, which doesn't leave a lot of room for duct/gaffers tape to tape the umbrella to your mic stand directly, and you CANNOT take the bottom handle part OFF with the automatic button to make the handle longer, without breaking it. Trust me, I had to sacrifice one to try that out! But overall this is the nicest umbrella's that Ive ever had IMO and they last much longer than the normal ONE festival that I usually get with every other umbrella from WalMart :P Also, this umbrella is SUPER SMALL when folded down and will fit in ANY gear bag IMO! Check out the link below! I paid $30 for mine a few years back, and I'm pretty sure this is the same exact one that I currently own with a 42" Canopy Arch, NOT diameter! And Procella also has a 100% Money Back Guarantee ;D ;)

And if Ted has any umbrellas left from this summer, I would try and grab one of those, especially if you already own a WindTech style C-Clamp, since Ted's umbrellas thread directly onto the WindTech Clamp's stud and makes for setting up an umbrella super easy with the Windtech method :) No duct tape needed, and you can get Ted's umbrella setup up a little faster than dealing with duct tape by yourself at a festival lol ;D Hope this helps some!

I own the Procella 62-in golf umbrella, and it is far and away the best umbrella I have ever used.  I wouldn't use it for outdoor taping, as it is extremely resistant to turning inside out and you'd potentially be having a Mary Poppins moment.  Just wanted to chime in that the construction quality is second to none, at any price.

Kids r us stroller umbrella. Mine's at least a decade old still works fine.

I also have an umbrella with a clamp that can be change for vertical or horizontal polls.  It works great.  Still any decent sized umbrella will do if you just want to tape it on.  You just have to get one that you can remove the handle.

camp chair umbrella attachment.  $4.99 at Academy or Walmart.  I have used tape, and I also have a clamp depending on what I need.  Its broader than most.
