best deal on nimh AA's
« on: January 19, 2006, 04:24:56 PM »
I need a charger and a couple sets of batteries.  Who's got recommendations?

I'm considering this, but I'd bet there's something better out there.  It's to power a R1 if it matters...

J&R had some excellent prices on 2700 mAhs when I was in there a few weeks ago.

Today I saw 4 packs at Radio Shack for $20 and 4-packs at Staples for $8.

If it's worth getting off the couch, it's worth taping!

I got this last week, and I have to say that it is pricy but really seems to be worth it - charges the powerex 2500 in 1 hour, and took good care of some older batteries I had
