I have been using a Canopus (first the 100 and now the 110) for four or five years now.  I've come to believe the "locked audio" feature is really not all that important in this age of high powered computers.  I turned the locked audio feature off years ago and have never (not even once) had a problem with video going out of synch during the capture.

Presumably, you're asking about locked audio because you've experienced problems.  Perhaps you should describe the details of your capturing process to see if maybe the problem isn't the capture device - but something else.
