Dumb cable question
« on: August 16, 2007, 02:00:22 PM »
I'm pretty sure it's not good to do but what are your thoughts on having say digital cables plugged out of the digi in and out's, rca's out of the lineouts on the 744 and rca's on the rca out of the V2 while not having anything plugged into the in's.  Does that even make sense?  lol   I dread always having to move my gear around to change a setup for a particular show.  (lord knows I do it all the time).  Thought it might be handy to have all cables I might use already connected.  Thinking it might introduce a hum though.  Don't really know.  School me.
