recovering a wav file on an r4

My deck froze when I hit stop at the end of a set. i tried everything to get it to unfreeze. In the end I had to unplug the pwer supply and turn the unit back on to reset it. The file was still there but it has no data in it, does anyone know if recovery is an option?
