ISO Good Copper Balanced Cable
« on: December 27, 2007, 03:54:23 PM »
Looking to make some Balanced cables and looking for some GOOD copper cable suggestions.

I know of Belden, Canare, Mogami.

What are some other good brands out there?

I accedently found a certain maker here in the US and I am trying to find them again.   From what I remember based on the specs they make very high quality cables and are reasonablly priced at about $199 per 100 feet and come in all sorts of colors.

I am not interested in Silver cladded or core cable.

This guy carries a good bit of bulk cable from the likes of Cardas, Goertz, Kimber, and one or two others -

FWIW, I paid ~US$230 for 200 meters of Mogami Star Quad.  $200 for 100' seems a bit high.

I have used monster cables.  But Currently use Canare star quads and I am very happy with them.  I have heard of these cables from another board and people seem to like them.  They are called musilux.  They can be found here....
