jb3 freezing question
« on: February 29, 2004, 12:11:59 PM »
I have had a JB3 for the past few months. It seems that I freezes sometimes when I patch into a soundboard. At one show it froze it a few times before I started recording. Another time it frozed during the opener's set. These have both have happened at the same venue, and it seems that the soundboard guy is doing something on his board to cause my jb3 to freeze. Might be too much power or something. Anyone ever had this problem before? If so, how did you fix it? Let me know.

Its prob not the sound board that is causing the issue. But  my guess would be a ground issue. Are you using the batteries or plug in power on  the jb3??

I am using the batteries. I do remember the second time that one of the band members wanted to hookup something to the soundboard directly. After that, I noticed that my JB3 froze. I haven't ever had this problem when I did audience pulls. Let me know.
