Help a Newbie - ADK SC-Ts or Rode NT5s?
« on: May 29, 2003, 04:51:11 PM »
I've been running a pretty basic stealth setup for about a year and am getting tired of mics-in-hat when it isn't really necessary.  I've been running AT831s>batt box>Sony MZ-N707MD.

I'm looking for a used D7 or D8 right now, and have narrowed my mic choices down to the ADK SC-Ts and the Rode NT5s.  Both are in about the right price range right now (more or less middle of the road).  Just looking for opinions as to quality of workmanship on each and sound quality.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Cheers,
Ryan

go with the adk's, I have yet to meet someone that likes the rode mics for PA taping
It is company policy never to imply ownership in the event of a dildo - We have to use the indefinite article; "A" dildo, never: "YOUR" dildo.

And isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, ooh ooh ooh, the sky is the limit!
