Sound Forge Pro for MAC
« on: April 03, 2015, 06:27:47 PM »
Hi here,
It's some days I noticed a strange thing on Sound Forge. I want down sampling from 24-96 to 16-44.1 with the isotope mb+ and ultra dithering. It's not the first time I do this process. I have done many recordings.
If I use sound forge 10 with my windows pc, the process is slow but the sound is accurate.
If I use sound forge 2.5 on my Mac , the process is more fast but I don't like the result. the sound is a little bit strident, harsh. I listen clearly the difference between the 24 and the 16 bit , usually I don't listen a so big difference.
I use the same settings for the down sampling.
Any help on this, please?
Any other here use Sound Forge Pro for mac?

Yes it does :  http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/soundforgepromac/izotope

FWIW, I keep trying to like Sound Forge Pro for Mac but it still hasn't won me over.  Audio processing is the only thing left that I keep my Windows PC around for.  If a version of Samplitude comes out for Mac and it is robust, I will finally be able to kick that PC to the curb!
