Ok, I bought a used h120 on eBay, and first off, the battery was dead. I'll buy a new one. I used it at a show, and plugged it in to the wall. For the first set I used line-in from my UA-5, and it was all good. For the second set, I used optical in, and it was going well until someone tripped my cord, and it shut off. I got it back on and kept going. When I got home and tried to copy files to my compy, it said it can't copy the files over. I eventually got some copied to the hard drive, but with clicks during playback. This was all on XP.
Then I tried copying the files to my Vista machine. It took a loooong time, but they all copied over. There aren't as many clicks that are in the XP copy. The file that was recording when the power cut out won't play.
Edit: I forgot to say, I copied a movie file that was 1.3gb from my XP box to my Vista box without problems.
So, my questions:
Is my hard drive corrupt in any way, or will a reformat fix it from the power outage?
Can I fix that file with the wav header utility?
