Moving this from the computer recording forum...
I've got some .avi video of a sidewalk set Mike Doughty did a couple months ago in Seattle that I'm working on (well, trying to work on). I've got the video transferred to my hard drive, and can access the file, but everytime I try to play it (or even hover over the file with the mouse), I get this error message:

I can play/watch the file, but the error doesn't go away. www.motionpixels.com used to be a valid site (checked it on wayback) but it looks like they've gone under. I either need to find the codec or somehow get the stupid error to keep popping up.
Please, someone help!

I've never heard of the Motion Pixels Codec. Doing a quick search, I can't find the codec for you to re-install, however, if you can play the video already, I would just uninstall the whole package. If the codec doesn't have it's own uninstaller, go to the control panel and click Add/Remove Programs.
If that doesn't help, post again and we'll take it from there.

I'll give that a shot when I get home.
Thanks much,

I tried creating that folder, then it found another missing file. Grrr...
