Settled on a Lenovo T440 per recommendations here. How is Newegg to buy from?
Thanks!

Absolutely. They have been my primary source of parts through many a PC build and upgrade.

I buy all of my computer parts from them. About to buy a 12TB NAS from them. Never an issue.
Sometimes the prices aren't the best, but more often than not they are competitive enough that I'll usually buy everything from them even if it costs a few bucks extra (I don't want to deal with multiple shipments to build a complete computer when it won't save me much).

^^^^^^^ A BIG ten-four on the prior posts. I pretty much exclusively use Newegg for my PC and related stuff. Over the years I've built four PC's with parts from them, and bought two laptops for my son; the most recent for his B-day last month. That laptop was delivered the next day. :coolguy:

Never bought laptop from them, but tons of components over the years. Never an issue.

Love Newegg. And love my Thinkpad (Lenovo X200). It's going on 9 years old and still going strong, aside from needing a new battery.

Thanks all!

They're starting to go the way of Amazon and show a lot of gear not supplied by them. I always check the radio button to limit the searches to things sold by Newegg directly in case there are warranty or return issues. Other vendors are a craps-shoot in this regards.
Also they just sent a bunch of sales records to CT and CT is sending past tax bills on items that should have been claimed over the last 4 years. This is hitting IT guys buying gear for their companies on their personal accounts sort of hard.

Those things aside. Have used them for years.
