Anyone had problems w/Canon digi cameras? E18 errors..?

Just curious,

Seeing this deal makes me very interested but I read a lot of "E18" errors on the reviews and just in google...

Anyone have issues?  Know lots here have the A75-85-95 series of powershots here.  My girlfriend has the A75 which is now out of warrenty and has a messed up screen (flexing the case fixes it temporarily).

Wondering how yours is holding up,
