Gain knobs on AD-20

Probably going to use this for the first time tonight.  But just wondering...since there are no indicators how do you know that you have the left and right knobs at equal gain?

You look at the levels on your recording device. ;)

If you don't have levels, or yours are crappy (jb3) on your recording device bring some headphones and try to get them as equal as possible. I did this my first time out last weekend with my jb3, recording sounds decent as far as levels go, but I could really use some external levels to get it just right.

Or do this:
AT933s (C/H/O) > AT8531s > UA-5 > H120 (Rockboxed)

And $900 less... :D
Look closely at the knobs, phichmarisol. There's a smoothed-out notch on each knobber.

If you want to use headphones regularly, buy an external headphone amp and run from one of your line-outs.  The headphone amp is the jb3 will drain your batteries faster and is nowhere near to loud enough if you are at a concert where the volume is at all loud.
