Line in > mic in

Is this possible?
I want to plug my line out from my headphone jack on my rig to a camera with a mic in only.

I purchased the Tascam DR-H1DV and it has an actual "line in" on it.
BUT, the rez just didn't cut it for me. I love the line in but, had to return it.

I have purchased another camera that will have a "mic in" only.
Is there a way to plug the rig in to the camera in to its "mic in" input?
Maybe using some kind of line attenuator????

Thoughts?

You can do it but most likely will need to attenuate the signal by like -20db.
I have run line out of many things like a littlebox and m10 (both actual line and headphone) > camcorders. I use a microphone madness -20db cable with good results.
http://microphonemadness.com/products/mmatatcab.htm b&h has some options too but I have no experience with them. Such as http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/767984-REG/Whirlwind_WHH4NL3_5MON_WHH4NL3_5MON_Line_to_Microphone.html
Or http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/746645-REG/Sescom_LN2MIC_ZOOMH4N_LN2MIC_ZOOMH4N_Line_to.html and others with different attenuation amounts
Without the attenuator cable it overloads, even if the meter says it's not.
The main reason I bought a dr-60d was to have better adjustment options for running into a camcorder and couldn't be happier for that purpose or as a audio recorder period.
