Along with Netflix, the BBC has the worst reputation at the moment for sound. Vocals are nowhere on every production, by both.

Thanks for posting this. Made for a great re-read of an article I'd come across a few years back and had forgotten about.
I'd love to just hear the various TV and radio mixes to compare, but wouldn't it be cool if samples of the isolated channels were available so we could compare each of the component-array setups ourselves and play with various combinations? Super comp!
