Topic: fragmented files -- help please!

here we go......

The last couple of shows I have archived, I have noticed when going back and copying from the DVD to my harddrive that they will not copy ( I did not do a verification after burning).  I get some type of error message "cyclic redunancy check".  I still have the master .wav's on the HD, so I try and .flac them again and Nero will not burn them (fail verification).  I have even tried taking the master 24bit files and starting fresh (dither and resample and .flac) I tried a disk defrag and the report says that the files are fragmented.  Is there something I am doing wrong here or is something wrong with a program?

EDIT...I'm using soundforge 6.0 for resampling
