Edirol R-09 HR "Sticky Skin" Issue
« on: December 01, 2018, 07:26:09 PM »
Hi folks,
I hope this is not in the wrong section, but here goes. Has anyone experienced this issue with the "rubberized" skin on my R-09 has become sticky and bothersome. Also, has anyone found a solution for this problem? Mine's been in my gear bag for years, so I don't know exactly when or how it occurred. Any insight, experience would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

David

^ Yep. Denatured alcohol and elbow grease will remove it and leave a smooth shiny plastic surface.  Takes a lot of rubbing but will come clean.
