Grace Design 101?
« on: December 22, 2005, 03:08:26 AM »
I have an opportunity to get a pair of these for $700.00.  In great shape.

A) I know this is a good deal.
B) Can these be powered by battery?

according to the online manual, it takes 6V DC.  so you should have no trouble powering it with batteries

other things to consider.  2 boxes instead of one.  probably 2 batteries instead of one (each unit is rated at 800mA).  and while $700 is probably a good deal, you could get a used V2 for less than that (if you wait for one to pop up here), and then you'd only have one box and one battery.  just some other things to think about.
