Title: For All You Flash Card Users – They May Be Pretty Tough
Post by: Yorick on October 06, 2005, 05:13:46 AM
I don't know if you guys have seen this news item – it's about a photographer who set up a remote camera too close to a demolition – the camera blew up, but the flash card kept on ticking.  :)  Here's a link to the article:

.
So, ... if you forget the Microtrack in your pocket and it fails to survive the wash cycle, would that be a bug, or a feature request?  :)

hey, pretty cool story and pictures.  really says a lot about CF, doesn't it?  i bet that guy soiled his undies after this.  like, dude, next time, don't get so close, okay?  you're lucky to be alive what with all that debris flying.  600 pounds of dynamite would've been my first clue to stay the hell away  :o

+t for pointing this out!
