Beyer DT 770 right channel just cut out...
« on: July 07, 2012, 07:00:23 PM »
Anyone know what the issue may be and if its easily fixable?  Treated them a little rough the past couple weeks (on the road) but was just sitting here listening to a show and the right channel randomly stopped for the first time since I've owned them and I'm not sure what to do.

Searching quickly not a ton of info came up and and most of it generally said send it back to a Beyer workshop.  Not sure how old they are but definitely way past warranty.

This may possibly be of some help if you decide to try to repair them yourself:

Possibly need to have the cable connection to the headphones re-soldered.
