I use the Manfrotto 003MF with the 112B. The 003MF is super compact and very stable.

If you're walking a lot, those heavy round-based stands are a lot more to carry, but offer additional stability compared to folding stands.

One criteria for on stage recording is HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?

I find that I can often get good results setting up as low as possible, in order to not get the mics blasted by stage monitors.

My bag is already a brick  8)  Those heavy base ones look super stable, but hefting-around-wise...I like the look of the ones Obaaron posted

Quoting myself:

Thanks Ian!  I'm looking forward to listening to this.

What mic stands are you using for this recording session?  I like the looks of them!

David

David  - thanks the kind words, and  for asking...
the mic stands my own custom part DIY's since I like smaller triposd/light stands for onstage use. These are  made of two items
Amazon sourced.
Boom arm.:

and the tripod backlight stand:

I also use these that I found on a thread here on TS purchased in 12/2013:

Image shows a 3 section stand but it's only 2 sections these are great, as they are short and compact.
