V2 Power Cable question (semi urgent)

(1/3) > >>

kindms:
So Im sitting here looking at one of the very first V2 ever made by Grace. It has a 4 pin XLR power connector. The cable I have used to be run to an old eco-charge battery 12v. Does anyone recall if the old BP series Eco;'s had something special with the cable diagram ? I seem to recall a cross or something that stop it from working with the 6v or something.

I ask because I plugged in in to my newer series eco charge batteries EC90 and no lights. nothing. nothing on 6 or 12

I dont have anything else to test the power with that I can think of. suggestions welcomed.

tgakidis:
12v v2 have pin 1 negative, pin 4 positive
6v v2 have pin 2 negative, pin 3 positive

Ted I was hoping you would chime in. Am I remembering correctly about the differences between the two eco battery models ?

And is it a jumper like in the V3 or hard wired ?

tgakidis:
Not sure about the eco charge batts but my guess is your v2 is a 12v model.
