GEAR CURRENT DRAW

Current draw (approximate mA) for some common gear.  I haven't actually measured most of these, so if you really want to be sure, break out your handy multimeter.  If you know for certain the current draw for any marked (?), please let me know.  But for a ballpark figures:

APOGEE  (http://www.apogeedigital.com)
AD500:     1,200
AD1000:    1,200
MiniMe:     800

BEYERDYNAMIC (http://www.beyerdynamic.com)
MV-100:  80mA

DENECKE  (http://www.denecke.com)
AD-20:     50 (is this right?!?)

EDIROL  (http://www.edirol.com)
UA-5:      450

GRACE DESIGN  (http://www.gracedesign.com)
V2:        500
V3:        750 - 1,000

GRAHAM PATTEN  (http://www.grahampatten.com)
ADC-20:    300
DMIC-20:   500

SONY  (http://www.sony.com)
M1/D100:   300
D7/D8:     200
SBM-1:     350 (?)
modSBM-1:  350 (?)

SOUND DEVICES  (http://www.sounddevices.com)
MP-2:      750 @ 48v phantom, 550 @ 15v phantom

TASCAM  (http://www.tascam.com)
DA-P1:     700-850 (internal power per specs, external power...roughly the same?)

Current Draw of many mics (stolen from Oade Archive)
might be helpful if you using a seperate device to power you mics (ex. PS-2)
